Welcome winter 2025. Winter hiking Pakri peninsula.
Your adventure begins at the Pakri Peninsula Landscape Protection park, home to some of Estonia’s most striking natural scenery — towering limestone cliffs up to 70 meters high, frozen coastal trails, and endless views of the Baltic Sea.
Hike along frozen cliff trails, spot seabirds and ice formations, and admire the historic Pakri Lighthouse, standing proudly on the cliff edge, and feel the raw energy of winter winds shaping the coastline.
The route continues to Paldiski, once a secret Soviet naval town, where rugged history meets coastal calm. Walk through quiet streets that tell stories of Estonia’s Cold War past.
The day finishes at the Keila Waterfall — Estonia’s third largest — and the nearby Keila-Joa Manor Park, where the frozen falls and snow-covered bridges offer a perfect end to your day outdoors.
